1. Introduction
We are seeking proposals from qualified mobile application developers and development companies to create a comprehensive mobile application for educational purposes. The application will be an educational platform designed to promote specific values and behaviours among users. The goal of the project is to increase user engagement and provide an interactive learning experience. The application will function as a resource hub with interactive features, offering various educational materials and tools to enhance user engagement.
2. Project Overview:
- Objective: Develop a mobile application that includes educational content, interactive features, and community engagement tools.
- Target Audience: The application will cater to a diverse user base, including children and adults.
- Key Features: The app will include but is not limited to:
- User registration and membership access
- Educational & media content repository

3. Scope of Work
- Design & Development
- Create a user-friendly interface suitable for both children and adults.
- Ensure the app is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms.
- Integration of multimedia content, including video, audio, and interactive elements.

- Implementation of user feedback mechanisms and basic AI functionalities.
- Ensuring offline content accessibility and seamless user experience across different devices.
- Development of an intuitive and visually appealing user interface.

- Content Management:
- Develop a content management system (CMS) for easy updates and management of educational materials.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance across devices.
- Detailed analytics integration for tracking user engagement and app performance.
- Maintenance & Support:
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support post-launch to address any issues and implement updates.
4. Deliverables
- A fully functional mobile application is compatible with Android and iOS.
- Source code and technical documentation.
- User manual and training materials for app administrators.
- Post-launch support and maintenance plan.
5. Eligibility Criteria
Interested applicants must:
- Demonstrate previous experience in mobile app development.
- Provide a portfolio of similar projects completed within the last five years.
- Have a team of experienced developers, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance testers.
- Show a clear understanding of integrating multimedia content and AI features into mobile applications.

10. Confidentiality
All information provided in response to this tender must be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of developing the proposal. Intellectual property rights for the developed application will remain with Step Up for Social Development & Empowerment in Nigeria.
