Halima’s Vote is racking up wins! Recently, we were awarded ‘Best International Film’ at the Toronto Animation Arts Festival International. It was also selected by several film festivals such as Festival International de Cinéma Vues d’Afrique, Pan-African Film & TV Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO) and Lagos International Festival of Animation (LIFANIMA). In 2021, it won two awards; Best Animation and Best Film on Good Governance and Accountability in the Africa Film for Impact Awards.
